Halloween: Oct 28 - 31

It all begins with an idea.

Friday.

Arrive any time!

Buses leave from Porta Thority Bussy Terminal Friday morning until about 1pm and then again in the evenings. It takes about two hours to get to either Warwick stop — the Park & Ride or the following stop at Oakland & Orchard. Let us know when you’re arriving and we’ll pick you up! (Lyfts and Ubers haven’t really caught on up here yet.)

Also, reach out to your fellow witches, too, since some of them may be driving.

Dinner will be ready around 8pm. If you’re feeling creative, bring a gay ghost story to share.

Saturday.

Take your time waking up. We’ll do a little walk around the neighborhood and then pop down to the Warwick Valley Winery for some plonk rosé, assuming it’s not overrun with leaf peepers.

When that’s done, we’ll come back to Chardavoyne for a potions class before getting ready for the evening.

At 5:45pm, a shuttle will come looking for a coven of witches, taking us down the road to the Old Stone House Inn. We have the lounge upstairs reserved for us, and the owners, Arik and Sylwia, are excited to welcome us!

We’ll have food and drinks and the room is ours until 10pm.

After that, any witches still witching are welcome back to Chardavoyne for a little dance party.

Sunday.

You’re all welcome to carve pumpkins while we make Hallomole, which is regular mole made around Halloween. It’s a tradition we started our first year together and every batch includes a little from the batches before it. We’ll watch Halloween movies and eat Halloween candy and drink Halloween drinks (or regular ones).

Up for debate: Is The Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie or a Christmas one?

If you have to leave on Sunday, we totally understand. But we encourage everyone to stay! It’ll be relaxed and cozy and a nice soft landing from Saturday’s festivities.

Monday.

We’ve taken Monday off and if you have, too, you’re welcome to stay. We doubt we’ll have any trick-or-treaters, but Warwick can be a surprising place!

If you need to go home, we’ll be happy to provide rides to the Warwick Park & Ride.
The weekday schedules are made for commuters, so there are plenty of options to get you back before your first meeting.
